Return scoring: triage every request in seconds

Emergency rooms do not treat patients in arrival order. They triage. Returns desks mostly do the opposite: every request waits in the same queue and gets the same scrutiny, or none at all.

Return scoring brings triage to the queue. Each request arrives with a score built from the customer's history: keep rate, return timing, categories, condition reports, prior warnings. High scores approve instantly. Low scores route to a human with the evidence attached.

The effect on the queue is dramatic. Most returns are honest and stop consuming agent time entirely. The small slice that needs judgment gets it, with context that used to take twenty minutes of tab-switching to assemble.

Triage also makes enforcement consistent. The score applies the same policy to every customer, so two agents facing the same pattern reach the same decision. Consistency is what makes warnings and denials defensible.
